Our Commitment to the Canine Community
Over the past 10 years Haute Dawgs has donated approximately $18,000.00 to canine related organizations.
In 2007, the Board decided to make a commitment to provide 30% of the proceeds from any given trial to go to a dog-related charity. The only exception to this is the “Toys for Tots” donation that we give every December at the NADAC trial.
We are presently donating to the Placer County, Yolo County and Sacramento County SPCA, Morris Animal Foundation, UC Davis Center for Companion Animal Health and the Sacramento Police Canine Association.
In 2010, from trials alone, we have donated $867.00 to the Morris Animal Foundation and $1.075.00 to the UC Davis Center for Companion Animal Health.
As a club we are participating in the Morris Foundation K9 Cancer Walk and donated an additional $250.00. We have also given $400.00 to the Sacramento Police Canine Association. Our total donation for 2010 so far is approximately $2600.00.
